Caitlin Louisa Eddolls is a photographer based in Syracuse, New York. Much of her work focuses on family and the often complex and ever-evolving dynamics, love languages, and roles that make each family unit unique. She is currently working on an ongoing long-term multimedia project about an ultra-rare disease, the individuals and families affected by it, and the scientists working around the clock to cure it.
Her photo career began with international travel companies, photographing programs that focused on community health and social services in Thailand, to co-leading a photography-focused and cultural immersion trip through Cuba for high school students. Before fully committing herself to the photo industry, she taught special education and outdoor education in Colorado, California, and Maine.
Caitlin is receiving her master's degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University upon the completion of her thesis defense in May 2024.
